Before I start with this blog post let me get one thing clear right from the get go. I’m a huge fan of the 3 fat chicks on a diet forum.
I read the 3 fat chicks on a diet forum regularly and will continue to do so, plus I often post and comment on it. It’s a great resource for beginners and of course advanced (and if there is such a thing professional) persons trying to lose weight.
You can find almost anything on there from guides to recipes and so much more. 3 fat chicks on a diet truly is an amazing resource for all of us, especially those struggling with our weight.
So why should you be careful with it?
Well… because it’s just the nature of the beast. Forums, no matter if it is 3 fat chicks on a diet or any other internet forum, are the quintessence of free speech.
Anybody can voice their thoughts and opinions freely and anonymously. Don’t get me wrong here I love free speech. It’s the best thing ever, especially since women didn’t have this right for quite some time.
However this also means that people like total beginners without any experience in the weight loss field voice their opinion on 3 fat chicks on a diet, which would be all good if it wasn’t for all the crap floating around the weight loss industry…
Take all those health magazines pitching you the newest diet or magic pill that is supposed to make you thin overnight, while most of them are actually engineered to make you gain weight!
Just think about it, if you would actually lose weight there would be nothing for them left to sell to you.
People will often write things on 3 fat chicks on a diet that they have read somewhere else.
And often those things are wrong and cannot be backed by any form of scientific data or real life experience.
Now guess what happens next… Someone who tries losing weight reads this “advice” on the 3 fat chicks on diet forum following it.
This woman is super motivated at first, because she can now finally see light at the end of the tunnel. But after a couple of months she is hit by the major downer, she isn’t losing any weight.
Now most people will react in one of the following two ways.
1. Quit, thinking I can’t lose weight no matter what, never achieving her goal of a healthier and happier life.
2. Look somewhere else for advice getting caught in the vicious circle of the shady diet industry.
This is exactly what happened to me, when I first started trying to lose weight and it took me 10 years to overcome it.
However in the end I made it anyway, see the picture below.

But it wouldn’t have been so tough if I had proper guidance right from the get go. You can find the right guidance on the 3 fat chicks on a diet forum, no doubt about it!
However you need to know what and where to look for if you want to find solid advice and more importantly what to overlook when browsing the forum.

How To Make Your Metabolism Faster - Fast & Easy
In this blog post I will cover how to make your metabolism faster, naturally and in a healthy fashion.
Your metabolism is of utmost importance when trying to lose weight for several reasons.
But I’m getting ahead of myself let’s start out with the absolute basics. If you already know what metabolism means and why it is so super important for weight loss feel free to skip the next paragraph.
What is metabolism and why do I need to increase it?
Your metabolism defines the amount of calories you need to take in on a daily basis in order to stay the same weight, for example the average person needs 2000 kcal a day.
Now a person with a slow metabolism might only need 1800 kcal, while a person with a fast metabolism would need 2200 kcal to keep their weight.
That’s the reason why some people can eat a lot and still stay thin while others only need to “look” at food and gain weight almost immediately.
Now belonging to the first group of people, those that can eat a lot while staying the same weight, is obviously beneficial in our weight loss quest.

This is actually easier than most people think. You just have to follow some very basic guidelines to see a significant effect.

1. Drink cold water throughout the day.
When you take in cold water your body needs to heat it up in your stomach before it can pass on. Heating up the cold water takes energy from our bodies; this energy is created by burning calories.
In conclusion your metabolism becomes faster, because your body needs to burn more calories.
2. Have a cup of green tea for breakfast instead of coffee.
Several scientific studies done by the universities of New York and Munich have shown that people that drink one cup of green tea a day have a higher metabolism than people who don’t.
But more interestingly, they have also done an experiment with women who haven’t been drinking green tea and which only started to do so during the experiment.
The result was the following, their metabolism increased by almost 15%, which in conclusion means they could eat a lot more calories while maintaining their weight or if they would just eat the same amount as before the experiment they would be losing weight!
Quite amazing if you ask me.
3. Start doing sport.
This one is pretty much self-explanatory … When you are physically active your body needs additional energy and therefore your metabolism increases. Yoga for example is a great option!
Depending on the kind of physical activity this can have a very significant effect! And additionally it is very healthy.

BMI Categories:

Overweight = 25–29.9
Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater
The weight status categories above are those currently used by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). They are suitable for adults who have stopped growing, if you are a teenager those don’t apply to you.

How to calculate your Body Mass Index.
BMI is your weight (in kilograms) over your height squared (in centimeters).
If you are not using the metric system, you have to use a different formula the so called Imperial (US) Method, the formula is as follows.
There are three simple steps for computing BMI with imperial values:
1. Multiply your weight in pounds by 703.
2. Multiply your height in inches by itself
3. Divide the figure from step 1 by the figure in step 3.
Not so tough is it?
Now that you know your BMI you can decide whether you should go on a diet or not!
However please keep one thing in mind; the BMI is just a rough measurement.
Over the past many physicians and doctors wanted to replace it with other formulas due to the fact that it lacks taking into account certain aspects like age, pregnancy, teenagers how haven’t matured fully and so on.
Furthermore a high BMI doesn’t mean you are unhealthy, take a bodybuilder for example those guys (and girls) can be very heavy but still be almost fat free.
Therefore you should take it with a grain of salt.
In the end your reflection in the mirror decides whether you are happy or not!

Bodyweight Exercises For Weight Loss For Women
